We run pottery painting slots every day. Our slots are two hours long and NEED to be booked in advance.

Monday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm and 2pm – 4pm
Tuesday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm
Wednesday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm
Thursday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm
Friday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm
Saturday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm
Sunday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm and 2pm – 4pm
We offer party packages for a minimum of 10 guests on a Wednesday at 4:00 – 5:30 or 4:30 – 6:00 please call 01162700177 for more details. The minimum age for private parties is 6 years old.

STEP 1 – CHOOSE AN ITEM
All of our pottery has been fired into various shapes ready to paint. Item range from £10 – £60. You just pay for the pottery you choose to paint.
STEP 2 – GET PAINTING
Hand-paint your design using the coloured underglaze. You can bring ideas with you or look for inspiration with the pottery we have painted around the studio, or you can always have a look on our pinterest – lollipopsstudioltd
STEP 3 – LETTERING
We can offer you some hints and tips on how to add lettering to your pottery or if you would like us to add some lettering to your design, we offer a commission service which will incur a small charge based on how many words you require.
STEP 4 – GLAZING & FIRING
After you have finished your masterpiece, we dip it in clear overglaze and fire it in our kiln. The pottery will then be ready to collect 7 days later (WE DO NOT OFFER DELIVERY). Why not enjoy one of our delicious cakes and a drink to finish off your visit!
STEP 5 – COLLECTION
Your pottery will be ready to collect 7 days later!
Glazing and firing your painted pottery:
We try our best to ensure that the creative journey you take with us is fun and enjoyable. The final part of the journey involves the glazing and firing of your pottery. Sadly this is not an exact science and the kiln is sometimes unpredictable. While we strive for perfection it doesn’t happen all the time particularly as these are hand produced crafts. Glaze spotting can occur as well as things like brick dust on the items. So please be aware that although we try to control for these events it is not always possible. It can be the charm but also the frustration of working with ceramics.
Sometimes, if we feel it is safe to do so, we will re-fire the pottery to try to fix glazing issues.
In the exceptional event of your pottery breaking or cracking in the kiln we will offer compensation by way of a replacement voucher.
