HOW IT WORKS

  • STEP 1 – BOOK YOUR SLOT

    You can book a table with us through our instagram (@lollipops.leicester), by calling 01162700177 or by texting 07756679862.

    Please send your booking enquiry as seen below;

    “Hello, can I book a slot for Date at Preferred time slot for how many people under the name your name (we only need one name) and this is my contact number*your contact number*

    Please also list any special requirements (Wheelchair access, pram access, hand and foot prints, a quieter area etc…)

    Our team will then book you in at your preferred time slot or at the closest one, if we are fully booked on your preferred date we will offer you an alternative date/s.

  • Arrive on time for your booked in time slot. You have the two hours to pick your items and get painting.

    Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have a pottery/price list. Head over to our instagram to get an idea of the items we stock. The price range is £10-£70, with majority being between £15-£30.

    (you can paint as many items as you’d like to paint in your two hour slot)

    Hand-paint your design using the coloured underglaze that is provided on your table, You can bring ideas with you or look for inspiration with the pottery we have painted around the studio, or you can always have a look on our pinterest – lollipopsstudioltd

    Once you have finished painting your pottery you hand it over to our trained staff who will get on with the glazing and firing process for you.

  • We can offer you some hints and tips on how to add lettering to your pottery or if you would like us to add some lettering to your design, we offer a commission service which will incur a small charge based on how many words you require.

    Whether this is a name and a date or the full Christmas designs our team are on hand to make your ideas come to life.

  • After you have finished your masterpiece, our trained professionals dip it in clear overglaze and fire it in our onsite kilns, pottery will then be packed and ready for you to collect.

  • Your pottery will be ready to collect 7-10 days later and we can hold your items for up to 30 days. 

    You should receive a WhatsApp messaging from us to let you know your order is ready for collection. If you have not heard from our team after 10 days by WhatsApp or phone call please call 01162700177

    When collecting your order please keep in mind we wrap your items up in tissue paper and pop them into paper bags or cardboard boxes. These are not designed to protect your pottery but to ensure everything is together for you on collection. If possible, please bring an alternative method to protect your pottery better. 

    If someone else is collecting your pottery on your behalf please make sure they have photos of the pottery you painted or a detailed description so we can confirm they are your items. We can NOT give out pottery if you are unsure what was painted.

  • We try our best to ensure the creative journey you take with us is fun and enjoyable. The final part of the journey involves the glazing and firing of your pottery. Sadly, this is not an exact science and the kiln is sometimes unpredictable. While we strive for perfection it doesn’t happen all the time particularly as these are hand produced crafts from the very beginning to the end. Glaze spotting can occur as well as things like brick/kiln dust on the items. So please be aware that although we try to control these events it is not always possible. It can be the charm but also the frustration of working with ceramics.

    Sometimes, if we feel it safe to do so, we will re-fire your items to try to fix glazing issues.

    In the exceptional event of your pottery breaking or cracking in the kiln we will offer compensation by way of a replacement item or voucher. We do not offer refunds.

  • We run pottery painting slots every day.

    Our slots are two hours long and NEED to be booked in advance.
    Monday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm

    Tuesday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm

    Wednesday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm

    Thursday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm, 4pm - 6pm and 6:30pm - 8:30pm (Thursday theme night)

    Friday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm, 4pm – 6pm and 6pm - 9pm (Adults only pottery painting)

    Saturday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm

    Sunday; 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm and 2pm – 4pm

  • We require a £5 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for parties over 8 People, with a maximum of 14 people per booking. If your party is bigger than this, we cannot guarantee you will be sat on the same table.

  • If you would like a private event, the studio is available for hire on a Saturday evening from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for a minimum spend (discussed on enquiry). Either you can hire both rooms on the evening or hire out one room. 

    Please keep in mind if you hire out one room, there may be another event in the remaining studio.
