Take Home Kits!

How does it work?

The process is exactly the same as our normal pottery painting sessions in the studio.

1. Decide if you would like to collect the items from the studio or pay a £5 fee for our “drop off and collection of kit” service. Once you’ve decided fill out the contact us form below. Let us know when you would like the kit for, your address (if you’d like to go for the “drop off and collect” service and how many people it would be for.

2. Pick what items you’d like to paint, we will send over some photographs of a selection pottery we stock in different price ranges.

3. Collect the kit from Lollipops Studio or we will drop it off to you. We will package all your items up for you and make sure the kit is ready.

4. You may now keep the kit for as long as you require and complete your pottery painting masterpieces in the comfort of your own surroundings.

5. Once you’ve finished your items leave them on the window sill for 24 hours to dry and then package them back up in the bubblewrap provided. If you have purchased the “drop off and collection of kit” service you would then text the allocated phone number to arrange a collection. If not, you will then need to drop your items back into the studio for us to glaze and fire them for you!

6. Once your items have been fired and are ready for collection we will send you a confirmation message and we will hold them for 30 days for you. We do not deliver fired pottery, this has to be collected from the studio.

How much is it?

• The price of the pottery depends on what you choose to paint. Our pottery ranges from £10-£70 with majority of our items around the £15-£30 mark.

• You will also be required to pay a £10-£20 deposit for the kit. This will be refunded to you when you either drop your kit back to us, or on collection of your fired pots if you choose the “drop off and collection of kit service”

• A £5 charge will be required if you choose the “drop off and collection of kit” service.

What is in the kit?

The kit includes;

• 15 paint colours, with white for you to mix more shades if desired.

• Brushes for up to 5 people (let us know if you need multiple kits in advance).

• Two toothbrushes for paint splats and design techniques.

• Two sponges to use for design techniques.

• A “how it works” leaflet with all the instructions.

• A care information sheet so you know how to care for your pottery once it has been fired.

What is the “drop off and collection of kit” service?

• This service is essentially a postage service completed by our team. If you live within a 10 mile radius then you will qualify for this service.

• This option is only available on a Tuesday for both drop off and collection.

• Our staff will call you on the Monday before to take the payment for your pottery, deposit and service charge we will confirm all the details given and you will the receive your kit the next day between 10am - 6pm!

• Once finished with your pottery you will text the allocated phone number and your items will be collected on the following Tuesday between 10am - 6pm.

• You will need to collect your fired pottery from Lollipops Studio as we do NOT deliver fired pottery.

• If you would like to go for the option please provide your address in your request.

Not going to be in on a Tuesday?

That’s okay! We can only do this service on a Tuesday, but tell us a safe space and we can leave it there for you. Alternatively for collection, let us know where you have left it and we will pick it up for you.

We will provide photographic evidence so you know it has arrived safely and in the correct condition.

Please keep in mind, we are not responsible for broken, damaged or missing items once we have left the premises.
